Quarterly Top 5! April - June 2012

I'm really struggling to find the time for photography and blogging lately. Even though I haven't taken many photos this quarter, the ones I do have are definitely some of my favourite work, quality over quantity I guess!!

I took this photo back in April while the kids were helping their Daddy wash the car. I'm not sure what it is exactly I love about this photo, his expression, his curls, the way his little pinkie is sticking out while holding the sponge haha. I just think he looks like a real little man here, I love it :)

 This was from back in April too, on our holiday to the Gold Coast in QLD. We'd had to postpone our trip for a month due to Charlotte's broken arm, (we were still ok to travel, then a week after she broke it they realised they'd missed that her elbow was dislocated too and we would not be travelling any time soon!) 

As you can imagine, after 6 weeks of being strapped up in an awkward position right under her chin, she was stoked to have her arm free and be able to enjoy the water!

 Another from our QLD trip, these were taken at Sea World Resort where we were lucky enough to be staying! They had a huge pool area that was Sponge Bob themed! I love the pure joy on William's face in this shot :)

I loved this entire series of photos  I took of charlotte! The boots were brand new and I thought it would be fun to do a little photo shoot with them on :) The flowers were Charlotte's idea, I think she looks so cute, especially with her little skinned nose haha.

This one is from the above session, when William decided to join in the fun! I love the action in this shot, how he's up in the air and the handful of gravel he's just thrown :) There is a follow up shot of the gravel landing on his head, lol.

Who Lives in a Pineapple Under the Sea?

SpongeBob SquarePants!!

On our holiday last week we stayed at Sea World Resort and Water Park and they had THE most awesome SpongeBob themed pool area! 

 The kids had an absolute blast, even though the weather wasn't as warm as we'd hoped, lol. 

 Every night at 8pm they had a SpongeBob Splash Bash Light show, they turn out all the lights and then the spongebob area is lit up with bright coloured lights in the ground and the kids all dance in the water fountains to songs from SpongeBob, but that's a whole other post!

     

  

It's Been Quiet..

My bloggy blog has been very quiet lately...but that's because we've been on holiday!

Project 52 - 2012 Month One!

Seeing as I had a successful first year of Project 52 (you can view all 52 weeks by clicking the Project 52 - 2011 tab up the top) I'm going to carry on with it this year!

I've picked a new layout which I think looks much better than the one I did last year and it also has space for an extra photo...lets hope I can keep up!

Wet n Wild!

Finally getting around to posting more of our holiday photos!

Our second big day was spent at Wet n Wild

Our season passes for the theme parks :D

My Daddy heading to the top of the Tornado waterslide. This slide was AWESOME.

You dropped down this really steep part... (Dad going backwards, my brother on the right. And two randoms)

into a giant funnel. You blasted right up the side, it was pretty scary, I felt like I would tip out when I went on!

Then you swished all the way out into the pool.. 

They obviously thought it was pretty funny ;D

There was another slide called the Kamikaze which I didn't get any pictures of, two people sit facing each other in a giant inflatable double armchair type thing, and you drop almost vertically down into like a skate ramp, so you slide back and forth...I went on with my brother and he said he'll forever be haunted by the sight of me towering over him screaming my head off LOL! It was really steep!!! I thought I was going to come out!!

Me and hubby. I hate that hat. LOL

It was on a big 'U' shape track and went back and forth while the seats spun around..

This is the only ride on the whole holiday that I didn't go on...

I just don't like rides that go back and forth like that...I'm scared someone will throw up on me haha!

Charlotte coming down a big girl slide. She kept racing ahead so she'd be way in front of us in the line...I was watching her chatting away to all the people around her, telling them she was on holidays and what she'd been doing...she's growing up so fast!
