The other day while Charlotte was picking 'treasures' I started taking photos of the flowers in the clover. Some were really big, some were tiny and then I found one that was perfect. Big, bright white and in full bloom, not droopy or wilted or trodden on by Charlotte haha.
Who knew they were so pretty!
I used my Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 for all these shots :)
The settings were: 1/100 f/4.5 ISO200
They look beautiful from above :)
And just as beautiful from the side :)
I'm really pleased with how they turned out!
Now, I invite you all to "LOL" at me for Faith's Simplicity challenge this week =D
You see, in my head, I'd said "Let's all pull a funny face!"but, it turns out my family are not all mind readers so we ended up with a super cute photo of my little family...ruined by silly old Mummy LOL. I really hate this photo of me, I look like a hippo or a member of Kiss haha.
We're all wearing the spectacular crowns that Charlotte fashioned for us out of paper, pom poms, feathers and stars :) I think they're AWESOME!
Thanks for stopping by!!
wow these are really beautiful shots! Your focus is just perfect! I really love the first one, and the one showing the stem. great job!
ReplyDeleteLove your cover shots, especially the 5th.
ReplyDeleteThat is one very cool looking flower. You photographed it well.
ReplyDeleteit's a little hard to choose a favourite from your clover shots - what a wonderful series of photos, but in particular awe of your 1st, 2nd & 5th shot.
ReplyDeleteAt least you're actually IN a photo for once ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's such a pretty flower and you got some really lovely captures of it!
ReplyDeleteThat last picture is something you all will look back on and have a giggle over. :)
Great clover shots and I love the crowns in your family picture. Too funny that you only thought the funny face comment!
ReplyDeleteooooh that clover is so pretty. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThese are all very lovely ~ the first and last clover pictures win it for me ~ just love the hint of the leaves in the bokeh. That said the macros are stunning too (I adore macro flower shots). The family shot is pretty cute too!

ReplyDeleteWow. Seriously, WOW. I didn't expect to be so amazed when I opened your Linky today! These are so pretty. Great work!
ReplyDeleteOMG the soft bokeh in the clover picture!!!!! How did you get it? Do you mind sharing the lens you used for it and the aperture? LOVE LOVE LOVE!
ReplyDeleteAnd your family is adorable even with your sticking out your tongue! Is it a self-portrait?
I used my Tamron 28-75mm 1/100 f/4.5 ISO 200 for the clover shots :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes it's a self portrait! I had to use the timer but the kids think it's hilarious watching me run to get in the shot haha!
Those are gorgeous photos! Really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat? No family telepathy? LOL!
really really pretty!
ReplyDeleteI have a new photo blog... will you check it out?
