Yep. That's the theme William chose for his 4th birthday party on the weekend!
He's turning into such a handsome little man :)
He said "Dis the best cake EVER!"
Super easy to make, I just baked two large square cakes, used one for the base and cut the second one into a slightly smaller square for the middle. I used the off cuts from the second cake to make the final square on top. Smothered it in white frosting and smarties and then whacked on some toys!
The main entertainment for the day was the super talented Miss Fairy. You might remember her from William's Caillou Party and Charlotte's Tangled Rapunzel Party. She does the most amazing designs!
In the weeks leading up to his party he kept saying he wanted to be a Minion, but on the day he switched to a monster!
His 'scary' face ;)
Charlotte requested 'A Rainbow Lorikeet in a tree by a waterfall' LOL!! So Miss Fairy got out her special book and they chose a peacock..
It looked AH-MA-ZING! Especially since this was the first time she'd painted it!
Somebody was thrilled with their Ariel face paint :)
Beautiful Little Mermaid :)
Peacock twins!
I love the super bright colours :)
So pretty :)
The boys all went with snakes and spiders :D They all kept requesting an extra head to their snake to try and out do each other, haha!
William was stoked with his "Shark Yata!"
SO glad I got photos of William with his cake before the guests arrived, I would have been devastated if the only shots I had were of the backs of the other kids heads. Cake time is just too exciting ;)
This was the invitation I designed :)
I purchased the clipart from a shop on Etsy called Grafos. Tons of cute characters to choose from! I even bought the ones I need for Charlotte's upcoming birthday ;)
I made the Minion party bags with eyes and mouths that were included with the clipart packs too :) Super simple on some cheap yellow treat bags!
Thanks for stopping by William's Buzz Lightyear Mike & Sully Minion Party!!
That's a stellar mash-up of a birthday party! :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, that must have been a smashing success of a party! Bet your little boy had a blast... and that face-painting artist is incredible!
