Can you believe 2011 is coming to an end already?!
So I'm participating in the Top 11 of 2011 with Click It Up A Notch, NapTime MomTog and Click. Pray. Love. where you share the top 11 photos you've taken of your children (or pets) over the last year.
(Here is my Top 10 from 2010..I like to think I've improved over the year!)
It was actually easier than I thought to put this post together as I'd already used most of my favourite photos to make calendars and photo books for Christmas presents =D
So here they are:
William's second birthday. I love everything about this photo :)
Charlotte at the beach on our recent summer holiday..
(More beautiful beachy summery shots HERE)
William watching the stunt car show at Movie World. I still haven't shared all of our holiday photos!
Charlotte's 5th birthday party. The theme was Tangled/Rapunzel and the face painter created this special Rapunzel face for her :)
Stay tuned for her party post, but in the mean time you can have a peek at her spectacular (if I do say so myself haha) Rapunzel's Tower Cake HERE
William when we went to Darling Harbour in Sydney to the IMAX theatre to see The Polar Express in 3D..
Miss Charlotte at her cousins 4th birthday party at the park :)
My little country boy William at Daddy's old Agricultural College when they had an open day :)
Charlotte having some winter swimming fun!
My big boobie boy William. I took this photo to mark reaching 2 years breastfeeding and we're still hanging in there (barely!) at 2 years 4 months!!
Charlotte at William's 2nd Birthday Party, all painted up like a dolphin princess. You can see the rest of William's awesome Caillou Party HERE
And to finish up, a shot of my beautiful babies together. Not the best shot composition wise, lol but they were having so much fun and look so cheeky, I love it :)
I love each and every one of these - your children are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou know I love that balloon shot, and the boob one is pretty adorable too. : ) You do have adorable subjects!
ReplyDeleteYour work is amazing, and your children are GORGEOUS!!!
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I have to congratulate you in how much your photography has grown! Wow!! Way to go Michelle!!! These are fantastic and I can't pick a favorite! William is about the cutest little boy EVER! Love those curls! I love all the expressions and different parts of your children you captured! I look forward to seeing where your photography takes you next year!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of your gorgeous children. When I read your kids' names it brings to mind my favorite book evah...Pride and Prejudice. Sorta, kinda...
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful - all of them! Your children are so adorable!!
ReplyDeleteAww, these are all SO adorable! I see some of my favorites of your photos in the selection. :)
ReplyDeleteMichelle, it is always a joy to view your posts. Your children are gorgeous and your photography has grown so much. You have worked so hard and it is lovely to see. I feel like I kind of feel off the "photography learning" wagon about mid-year, so it is inspiring to see you pressing on and improving.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely collection with so much personality and joy. I love it!!!
Sweet photos of your children! They are all so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I absolutely adore that first picture!!
ReplyDeleteThese are soooo awesome. Your photography is great. I am going to feature you on my facbeook page. thanks for putting our buttons on your post too. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful children and what gorgeous pictures! Found you over at the Top 11 for 2011 link up :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos Michelle, your children are so adorable! I can't choose a favorite, you've captured them so beautifully, especially their eyes!
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing. I love the eyes in every one of them - you have to share your tricks. And congrats on bf for over 2 years! WOW! I did it for 11 months (stored enough to last past 1 year though) and I was impressed lol
ReplyDeleteI'm in awe at the shots you are getting with your Rebel. How do you get such clarity (in the eyes). I have the 400D and the 50mm 1.8 and I can't get shots like that.
ReplyDeleteAll of these photos are beautiful.
You're using a Rebel? (I read the comment above mine.) I have a Rebel T1i and have never gotten eyes like that. Of course, I'm still using the kit lens. But I just got the 50mm 1.8 for Christmas, so I have hope!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite of all these beautiful shots may be the mommymilk one. I love how you can tell exactly what he's doing but it's perfectly modest. My three babies all weaned before I got a DSLR so I only have some awkwardly composed dark photos of them. I treasure them anyway, of course, but your picture above is art!
These are such a fabulous set- I hope they are all framed in your house someplace.
ReplyDeleteYour kiddos are gorgeous.. My favorite is of William breastfeeding! The swimming and beach pictures are up there in my favs too! Lovveee their eyes!
ReplyDeleteI linked up too!!

ReplyDeleteThese are all absolutely GORGEOUS! Beautiful shots, beautiful subjects!!!
