Another Sunday, time for the Scavenger Hunt!
1. Classic Still Life
I'm guessing classic still life was meant to be something more along the lines of a fruit bowl or vase of flowers, lol but I ran out of time so you get this instead :D My friend asked me to get a nice picture of her two boys 'special' toys, the ones they take everywhere with them, so that she'll always have a little reminder of them incase they become a little too well loved ;)
2. Self Portrait
Ugh I hate self portraits, lol. I took this while on holidays at a butterfly house...I was aiming for the butterfly on my shoulder but got half my face instead! I kinda like it but think I should start wearing makeup :P
3. On The Floor
Another from our holiday, we had a huge spa bath in our room which the kids decided to take advantage of every night! Somebody went a little overboard when squirting the bubble bath in and as a result the bubbles spilled over onto the floor!
I won't tell you about the nice little "gift" William left in there on the last night for me to scoop out...oh wait I just did ;D
4. Lines
We've had a beautiful sunset every night this week. So when I decided to go outside and take a picture of the power lines for the scavenger hunt, of course there were great big rain clouds sweeping in :/
5. Fresh
There are no words for how fresh and zesty this lime shower gel is. It.smells.SO.GOOD!
I love it :D
And some exciting news (well, exciting to me haha!) my muddy puddle photos of Charlotte won the 'Outdoors' Challenge for Perceptive Perspective, yay!
AND
one of my coloured pencil shots made the Top 10 for this months 'I Clicked It Up A Notch' challenge! If you'd like to vote for me just click on Photography by Michelle in the poll HERE :)
Thank you!

um... I have no clue what you are talking about. Your selfie, and YOU in it, are gorgeous! Such beautiful eyes. and lips. Okay, that sounds weird - but whatever, its true. and On the Floor had me cracking up. GREAT photo! The type you hold on to for first dates and graduation and all that :)
ReplyDeletegreat set of photos - love your take on still life and your selfie is fabulous - must try that composition
ReplyDeleteYour skin is so fresh and flawless - you don't need makeup girl! You are lovely as you are. Oh I had to laugh when I saw those bubbles what a great capture.
ReplyDeleteOK those are seriously good pictures in your muddle puddle storyboard - I just love them .........she sure had some fun.
Congratulations on making it to the top 10 for your pencil shot too.
Who needs make-up when you have beautiful skin? Really, you look wonderful without make-up!
ReplyDeleteThose muddy shots were wayyyyy good --congrats!
William looks absolutely adorable in that shot. :)
ha. Look at those bubbles. wow. how fun
ReplyDeleteThese are all outstanding! I love your selfie.... so cool with the butterfly and only half of your face. I cracked up at the bubble shot. My boys need close supervision when adding bubbles to the tub. They tend to get a little heavy handed. And congrats on the photo winnings. I adore those mud shots ;D The one with her poring mud out of her boot - whahahahah!
ReplyDeleteYour on the floor shot is so great - and I like your selfie. I would never have known that you weren't wearing makeup. You look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love all of your photos, they are always so well composed and put together. Those mud puddle ones too cute I would definitely hang those up in a collage frame.
ReplyDeleteThe bubbles shot had me laughing so funny! Congrats on the win!

ReplyDeleteThe bubbles shot is just too much, soooo cute.
Such a CUTE still life! Love the on he floor and while I'm sure a whole picture of you would also be lovely, I do have a fondness for butterflies! Terrific set! (and I'm not surprised you won the outdoor challenge you mentioned--those are fantastic, fun shots!)
ReplyDeleteI adore that first picture!there is just something about those rugged toys! It should be put on the wall in a kidsroom :)
