Whenever I buy Charlotte crayons, within minutes she's peeled their wrappers off and broken them all and it REALLY bugs me! So on Friday when I bought the kids a packet of crayons and a colouring book each I decided to get some crayon shots while they were still nice and new. It was a good chance to practice with natural lighting setups indoors too :D
I had planned on doing a high key edit on one of these for the Scavenger Hunt but I didn't get the rest of the items finished :/
This one is my favourite :) This is also my entry for 'Colourful'
Those will make great art for your kids playroom! So fun! I would have loved to see your high-key; I thought that prompt was the hardest. Next week...all of them sound hard.
ReplyDeleteFantastic shots!! I think my favorite is the second last one!
ReplyDeleteI love these colorful shots of the crayons, Michelle!
ReplyDeleteYou should check out Twistable Crayons. They saved my sanity.
Thank you so much for linking up with Communal Global. =)
You photographed these crayons BEAUTIFULLY! I must try this sometime! Also, my son does the EXACT same thing! Peels the paper off crayons! He say's he's 'opening' them! Silly boy! :D
ReplyDeleteI love all these photos. So colourful and bright.
ReplyDeleteI really love crayons! There is something so fun about them. I am glad you were able to shoot them when they were fresh and new : ) I think I got something for Kaish when he was little that was twistable. That was perfect since they didn't break all the time : )
ReplyDeleteSuch fun captures, Michelle! Those would be lovely framed for our playroom. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome! I love crayons when they are all new and perfect! Amazing shots!

I love crayons. Love the smell & how it takes me back to my childhood! I agree with you - your favorite shot is mine, too. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful...love all those colours!
ReplyDeleteI now feel the sudden urge to buy a pack of crayons.
ReplyDeleteWow - I love these shots! Great job!
ReplyDeleteOkay, as I was looking at those awesome pics I was thinking, "oh, she should frame those, because they are all good and put them by where the crayons are or in a kids crafting area" and then there it was...your last sentence...you are on it already!
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous captures, I love them all...love the colors!
ReplyDeleteHey, Michelle! Oh yes, you should definitely frame them up and hang. My fave is the 2nd to last...just adore the shallow dof. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove all the shots! I always enjoy visiting your blog. Don't you just love the smell and look of fresh crayons?
ReplyDeleteSuper shots! Nothing better than new crayons!
ReplyDeleteI love these shots! Your favorite is my favorite too. So cool!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up!
Hi I love the one where all the ends are in focus but there is great dof - how do you do that? :-)
ReplyDeleteHey! I chose your photo as one of my two favorite photos that I am having my readers vote on for my photo challenge: Colorful.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for linking up!
