On Thursday I finally got a chance to take some photos of my gorgeous 4 week old nephew! We had planned to do them much sooner to get that nice floppy newborn look but we all kept getting sick and had to keep postponing!
I'm very happy with how they turned out though and I have a sneak peek today at my favourite shot from the day :)
Isn't he precious?!
He wasn't too keen at first, screamed his little head off when we popped him in there poor thing, so my sister in law gave him his bottle in there and he drifted off to sleep :) Then I warmed the apples up in front of the heater we had pointed at him to keep him nice and warm so that he didn't get a cold shock when we put them in!
A couple of apples *may* have been eaten by my 20month old niece in the process of putting this together, lol. She kept getting them out and taking a bite then putting them back in!
I'd love to know how I did, I've never photographed a baby before! (except my own and that was with my p&s)
I'll share some more from the shoot when I've finished editing them :)
Here is the SOOC for Touch Up Tuesday:
I didn't do much to it, I just ran Coffeeshop's Baby Powder Room to smooth out his skin a bit, used the Clone Tool to clean up some marks on the wall and floor and brushed over his lips and eyes with a Sharpening action just to make them pop a bit more, then ran Florida to brighten it up a touch :)
Very cute, and warming up the apples....brilliant!
