Hello Moon

On Monday night when hubby got home from the gym he told Charlotte and I to go outside and look at the moon. Apparently he could see a face on it....but we couldn't, lol.

Anyway I thought it would be a good chance to try and get a good moon shot, I've never tried before and wasn't sure if my zoom lens would be good enough!




I learned I can take a nice photo of the moon with my kit zoom lens :D

I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out, I didn't think I would get as much detail :)

    I think these turned out awesome! I tried to get some moon shots recently and they were horrible. Did you use a tripod? Doesn't matter--wonderful photos!

    Impressive! I tried my first moon photograph last month and was pretty surprised myself at how well my zoom lens did! Great shots!

    These are amazing! I have always wanted to take photos of the moon, too. I have only tried once and it was a complete fail since the clouds started rolling in. But thanks for the inspiration to try it again!

    I have tried and tried to take a cool moon pic and never have gotten one anywhere near this good. The longest lens I have is a 200..... maybe I need to upgrade first - hee!
