Baby in Flight :)

We've been taking the kids to the beach after dinner every night lately, trying to wear them out so they'll go to sleep at a reasonable hour. It doesn't work though, lol.
Anyhoo, this week has really been a huge step forward for me with my camera, I'm pretty much shooting everything in Manual now, hooray! I had one of those moments when it all just clunked into place in my head, lol. So I took my camera to the beach and was trying my hand at silhouette's and this is what I came up with:

(Heads, Shoulders, Knee's and Toes - Anything but a Face week at I Heart Faces)

I love this photo.
I love everything about it. It's probably not "perfect" technical-wise, lol but I just love how relaxed and free William looks in the air and I love that Charlotte is there, head thrown back laughing with the sun in her hair. And hubby looks a bit muscly too LOL!
I'm going to get it blown up and framed. Cause I heart it :D

And, it's SOOC, yay for me! I did try some editing on it but kept coming back to the original :)
And if anyone is interested
1/4000
f/5.0
ISO 100
I have no idea if those are the right kind of settings for this type of shot but I got a result I was happy with, lol.

and then, she {snapped}

    He really looks as if he is flying. :)
    I don't know if it's tecnically correct or not but it's wonderful and magical.
