Planet Sydney!

I've been wanting to try the make your own planet tutorial Ashely at Ramblings and Photos posted a few months ago for AGES and when we were in Sydney for Charlotte's birthday on Sunday I took some photo's of the city skyline from in the Royal Botanic Gardens so I could finally give it a go!

Here is the skyline, cropped and sharpened:

And here is my first attempt at a "planet"

What do you think?

Then I did some with the Harbour Bridge and Opera House:

I LOVE this last one! I think I'll hang it on the wall when we move to our new place :D (when we find one, lol)

I'd love to know what you think! (I'm still learning how to use the clone stamp and healing tool though!)

Head to Ashley's Blog for her easy to follow tutorial!

  6. um, WOW! That is SO fun! What a way to capture Sydney. I like the last one best as well - most unique to the city - although the first one with the city line is definitely great as well! Thanks for sharing.
