Scavenger Hunt Sunday!

Scavenger Hunt time! I was actually finished early this week, normally I have to do a mad dash to get done, lol.
1. Black & White

This was one of the Tiger Moth photo's I took of Charlotte, if you want to see more and read the little tale that goes with them go here. I really love them so thought I'd use one for Black & White. The action I used is A Sorta Fairytale's Black & White Fairytales in Caramel :)

The Paper Mama
2. I Ate This

This was our dinner the other night at Mum & Dad's house. It looked even yummier after it had been in the oven with the cheese on top =D And yes thats my little man in the background, lol.

 3. Historic

These are some photograph's from when my Grandpop was involved in the Snowy Mountains Scheme that ran from 1949 to 1974. I'm not exactly sure what year these were taken, I found them floating around in the top of a cupboard at Mum's, lol.

4. Off Centre

Through the week I took a couple shot's for a very good friend's business Chocpots! And I got to eat it when I was finished =D They're yummy edible bouquets made with Ferrero Rocher chocolates, YUM!
I like how this one is Off Centre and the texture too, it's a Chasing Dreams one.
You can visit Chocpots website or her  Facebook fanpage to see more yumminess :)

5. The End

This is part of the inscription on our wedding bands, "La Fin" means The End. I think this is my favourite shot of the week :)

Charlotte and the Tiger Moth's

On the weekend Charlotte was out the back painting (which is why she is wearing only paint-covered undies, lol) when she came inside to show us the moth she'd caught

*warning, many many photo's ahead LOL!*

I quickly grabbed my camera and went outside with her and started snapping some shots

Then a second moth joined the party..

It was tough choosing which macro, but I like how you can see her little belly in this one, lol

Isn't she cute??

I wasn't making her do all these different poses, the moths kept flying away and crawling around so she was twisting this way and that trying to hold on to them!

I can't wait til I get a better lens :/

This is where things got interesting..

She was so busy trying to pick up the one at the bottom that she wasn't paying attention to this little guy at the top...

hehe its legs are actually in her mouth!

eeeeeeeeeeee!!

ppppfffffthbbbbbrrrrrrpppp!!!

mmmm tasty moth =D

And that is the story of Charlotte and the Tiger Moths!

I should add, all the photo's were processed with my new favourite Action 'Luna' from My 4 Hens "Glory" set.
I'm in love with it!

PhotoStory Friday

see you on Sunday for the Scavenger Hunt! (I'm finished mine already, wooo!)

Scavenger Hunt Sunday!

Gosh I've been slack with my blog this week! But I've been busy editing photo's from our little Christmas photo shoot we had the other day so I can make our Christmas cards! I'll be sure to share them  when they're done, once again our card will be funny rather than cutesy, lol. Everyone loved my funny card last year =D

Anyway!!

Here are my interpretations for the week. At first I was a bit disappointed with my shots but I played around with the processing and I'm pretty happy with them now :)

1. The View Above

Ok so I had in my head all week that this was meant to be View FROM Above, lol but I think this still works...I hope!
We're very lucky to live close to such a beautiful place, I took this this morning on our family bush
walk :)

2. Something Hot

Peppercorns. Its the best I could come up with!! I actually took some shots of the flames on our gas stove but I wasn't happy with them (and the stove looked really filthy in the pics....but I swear its clean!)

 3. Something Cold

Some yummy tropical Gelato that's waiting for me in the freezer as soon as the kiddlets are asleep (1 down, one 2 go, lol)

4. Electronic

My keyboard. That is actually battery operated and wireless haha!

 5. Sparkle

A close up of one of Charlotte's many many handbags, this one is covered in purple sequins and really does sparkle!

Head to Ashley's blog to see the other entries!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday!

Sunday already!! I'm not 100% happy with my shots this week but we had a bit of drama over the weekend involving hubby and a trip to the dentist....lets just say his wisdom tooth got stuck, the drugs wore off and it was all within earshot of a waiting room full of school kids!! Needless to say he's been out of action for most of the weekend, lol.

Anyway....

1. Self Portrait

I hate being in photo's, I'm always all chins and flubber and pale, lol. This was on Friday at the beach...thats not my hat, I never wear hats but it was really hot and I kinda like it....maybe I'll pinch it haha!

(seeing as it's highly unlikely I will be doing another self portrait soon, I'm going to do some linking up! =D)

Facing Myself

2. Handmade

When my hubby's Grandma went into a Nursing Home last year, we all went down to help pack up her house. She couldn't take much in with her so everything either had to go to a new home or be thrown out. It was sad to think of all her beautiful Handmade things being thrown out so we took this knitted scarecrow for William and a knitted Doll for Charlotte.

3. Orange

I tried and tried to get a photo of William using this Orange crayon...and he kept eating it! I got some pretty cute pics but you can't really see the crayon, lol so I went with this one :)

4. Candle

I really rushed this shot in earlier tonight, it was really grainy so I played around with the processing and came up with this :) My hubby gave me this Candle on my 18th birthday...which means its been collecting dust on my chest of drawers for nearly 11 years =O lol

 5. Traffic Signal / Sign

This Sign is really more for pedestrian traffic than car traffic....does it still count?? lol! I like the way it turned out, I used Fire Ants from My Four Hens :)

Touch Up Tuesday - John Deere Baby!

I have a photo to share for Touch Up Tuesday....and then a massive photo dump of the rest of these photo's, lol so I apologise in advance :D
SOOC:

I wanted to get rid of the tattoo on his arm and then smooth out the background...cause I wasn't planning on using the backdrop yet and it was all crunchy but I'm lazy so used it anyway :D
I used the clone stamp and Healing tool :)

Touch Up Tuesday's at the Paper Mama

And now the rest =D
I love how he's kicked his leg up in some of them, such a poser!!
They're a bit rough but practice makes perfect :D

(while he was sitting in the truck with no nappy on, he let one rip, hahaha! you should have seen how pleased he was with the noise it made!)
